Why we assess hypermobility
Hypermobility rarely travels alone. Because it so often overlaps with the autonomic conditions at the core of our clinic, assessing it sits naturally within Autonomics Australia.
What it is
Some joints move beyond the normal range. For many people that is harmless — for others it brings pain, injuries, fatigue and whole-body symptoms pointing to generalised joint hypermobility, hEDS or HSD.
What it involves
Validated questionnaires plus precise, standardised in-person measurements, interpreted together against internationally recognised, evidence-based criteria by an experienced clinician.
Your report
A clear, structured report goes to your GP or referring clinician — including any links to conditions such as POTS or dysautonomia that may be worth addressing.
This is a private test and does not attract a Medicare rebate. A fee estimate is provided when you book. No referral is required — if you book yourself, we send the report to the GP you nominate.
